Our

Purpose

At Dunsany Estate, we empower businesses to align their ESG and CSR goals with meaningful action — by restoring biodiversity, rewilding land, and supporting nature’s return.

Our work is rooted in simplicity, impact, and connection — not just between business and planet, but among teams coming together to shape a more regenerative and resilient future.

Our

Mission

We strive to provide businesses with accessible, effective ways to strengthen their sustainability practices. Through Nature Shares and Biodiversity Net Gain (BNG) Solutions, we offer a seamless path for companies to achieve their ESG targets while contributing to the restoration of Ireland’s natural landscapes.

Our

Vision

At Dunsany Estate, our vision is to create a regenerative and reconnected world where people and planet thrive together.

As the largest rewilding project in Ireland, we aim to establish Dunsany Estate as a beacon of change for biodiversity in Ireland — a living example of what large-scale restoration can achieve.

We see Dunsany as a catalyst for future rewilding efforts across the country, a place where communities, businesses, and individuals from all walks of life come to learn, grow, and experience the power of wild nature first-hand.

History of

Dunsany Estate

With a legacy spanning almost 1,000 years, Dunsany Estate is one of Ireland’s oldest continuously inhabited estates since the 11th century. Steeped in history and tradition, the land has now entered a new chapter — a return to wildness. With 750 acres dedicated to rewilding, the estate is being carefully restored to a thriving, natural landscape where nature leads once more.
